Clarity regarding public health matters and maternal/infant health depends on it.

There’s been a lot of confusion online over the past few days about a CDC webpage update related to autism and vaccines. Moments like this remind us how essential clear, consistent communication is for parents and families especially Black mothers who already face barriers to trustworthy health information.

At Sulae Health, we stay grounded in:

🌱 Evidence-based care
🌱 Environmental + maternal health justice
🌱 Honoring the real concerns families carry
🌱 Centering transparency and informed decision-making

Parents deserve information that is accurate, accessible, and culturally safe.
Mothers shouldn’t have to navigate conflicting messages alone. Sulae Health exists to support families with clarity, compassion, and science that respects lived experience.

If you’re confused by what you’ve being, you’re not alone. Please consult your pediatrician and cross reference any information published by the CDC with the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) and we’ll continue sharing tools that help families make informed, confident decisions.

It's RSV awareness time! If you’re pregnant, especially between 32 and 36 weeks, contact your OB/midwife about the RSV vaccine. Ask about how this vaccine can protect your baby during their first RSV season.

Share this with other moms and families in your community especially Black mothers and infants, who often face higher risks and inequities in maternal and infant health.

🌿Follow Sulae Health for more education, community programs, and support around maternal and infant health and eco-conscious care. We take pride in focusing on culturally relevant, eco-conscious maternal health for Black women and families including ensuring you have language and care options that reflect your realities.

SCIENCE IS CLEAR 💡

As a femtech company that is founded by a public health scholar with an autistic son and that is rooted in research backed and evidence based information that informs our programming, services, and community-based participatory research studies -- we understand that SCIENCE IS CLEAR.

There is no link between acetaminophen use, pregnancy, and autism. It is safe to continue to use acetaminophen as needed during pregnancy.

✨Protect your baby before they’re even born!✨

Pregnant and expecting between September & January? The RSV vaccine during your 32-36 week window can protect your newborn from severe RSV. Talk to your healthcare provider about Pfizer’s Abrysvo.

Why it matters: When you get the vaccine, your body makes protective antibodies that pass to your baby. That helps shield them from RSV during their very first months of life.

Missed the window? No worries! Your baby can still get protection with an infant shot called "nirsevimab" after birth. Ask your provider today if you’re eligible.

Sulae Health began alongside my own journey, first as a doula and maternal health advocate, then as a public health researcher, and now as a parent and stepmom to a brilliant 14-year-old boy.

Rooted in over 13 years of experience in maternal and infant health, Sulae Health is reimagining maternal care as both eco-conscious and evidence-based. Sulae Health is a fem-tech platform and wellness hub that connects families with resources, providers, movement classes, and community support while also leading research at the intersection of climate change, lactation, and emergency preparedness.

Sulae Health is a reflection of my life: balancing research, entrepreneurship, and motherhood, while holding onto the belief that families deserve sustainable, resilient, and compassionate care systems. Sulae Health is more than a platform, it’s a movement toward maternal wellness that honors both body and planet.

A message from our Founder, :

“Community — I know that the outcome of this election is tough for many of us, but it only reinforces the need for real change at every level—including our local communities.

We’ve seen how policy can affect everything from healthcare access to reproductive justice to environmental health, and that’s why I’ve been reflecting deeply on what I can do to ensure we are fighting for justice, not just through advocacy but by becoming part of the decision-making process. We need leadership that understands our needs and is willing to fight for sustainable change on the ground level. I’m committed to continuing the fight for Black maternal health, clean water, and environmental and reproductive justice, and I believe that in the coming months, we can work together to make those changes a reality.”
