Why?
Because correction is growth.
Rebuke is refinement.

Sometimes it comes from people you don’t prefer.

The real test?
Not reacting defensively.

Before you respond — examine it.
Ask: Is there truth in this?

Maturity isn’t avoiding correction.
It’s welcoming growth.

If something is off, fix it.
If it’s not true, discard it.
But don’t let pride keep you stuck.

I’ve learned this the hard way:

I understand the why
after I decide to obey.

Doing what the Word says
isn’t always easy on the soul.
It’s not always comfortable for the flesh.

There’s almost always a question:
“Why?”

But here’s what experience has taught me —
when you choose obedience first,
clarity follows.

Over and over again,
the why gets answered.

Trust isn’t waiting for explanation.

We’ve made “renew your mind” sound soft.
Almost passive.

But alignment?
That’s intentional.
That’s decisive.

It means you bring your thoughts into line with truth —
not your feelings,
not culture,
not your past.

Alignment requires action.
And when your mind lines up with the Word,
freedom follows.

That’s not Christian language.
That’s Kingdom reality.

The first step in anything is simple:
What has God said?

When things feel frustrating or heavy,
it’s often friction from misalignment.
And friction will eventually wear things down.

Alignment removes unnecessary resistance.

Choosing to do what God said —
even when you don’t understand why —
is maturity.

I’ve learned this:
When you obey first,
the understanding comes later.
