Yesterday’s Vet-to-Vet Café, hosted by Mary Dunn of CHI Health At Home & Hospice, created a special space for the veterans who call Missouri Slope home — and for family members of veterans — to share and connect. Mary presented each veteran with a commemorative card and coin in honor of their service. It was a heartfelt gathering filled with gratitude and meaningful conversation. 🇺🇸💙

Ahead of Veterans Day, we gathered to celebrate and honor the veterans who call Missouri Slope home. ❤️🤍💙

It was a moving ceremony filled with gratitude, applause, and even a few tears - as each veteran was recognized with a pin and flag in appreciation for their service.
A sincere thankyou to the Bismarck Amvets Post #9 Honor Guard for joining us in this special tribute.

Your generosity will help stock the shelves of local ministries and soup kitchens, including Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, House Of Prayer Lutheran Church, First Lutheran Church of Mandan, Sunne Lutheran Church, and Heavens Helpers Soup Cafe. Together, we’re helping our neighbors find nourishment and hope this season. 🌾

We’re collecting shelf-stable food items to support the food ministries of Missouri Slope’s member churches — including Good Shepherd, House of Prayer, First Lutheran of Mandan, and Sunne Lutheran.

Suggested items: PB&J + bread, boxed milk, pasta + sauce, canned goods (pop-top preferred), oil, coffee/tea, sugar/flour, dish detergent, and feminine hygiene products.
