🌿👩‍🌾 We’re returning to the Floyd Farmers Market ~ Dear friends, we’re happy to share that Baby Bear Farm will be back at the Floyd Farmers Market from May through November, attending every other Saturday from 9 am- 1 pm. Many thanks to Sustain Floyd for supporting local farms and creating a community-centered space for all of us to grow together.

🌿When we first bought our place, it wasn’t a lavender farm. Acres of field were overgrown with tall grass that hadn’t been cared for in years. We didn’t have fancy equipment - just hope, a pair of shovels, long days of manual labor, and a dream. Slowly, with every dig, plant, patience, prayer, and love, it became the lavender sanctuary we have today.

I’ve lived in several cities and countries. My family in Hawaii says I’m a simpleton who wanted to live a thousand lives. But lavender dream like this~ starting over, planting roots, building something from the ground up- are only possible with a partner who believes in you. One who is willing to move thousands of miles, work side by side, give generously to family and causes close to the heart, and cheer you on when the path is uncertain and scary.
