Wintertime brings a chance to imagine, explore, and create. As I endeavor to find, modify, or craft delicious recipes suitable for those with type-2 diabetes and compatible with a ketogenic eating pattern, I'm excited to offer a sneak peek into today's creation.

Hello everyone, a bit of an update as we move through autumn and into winter. Although I've taken a position as a Health Coach (part time) I'll continue on a more limited and focused way growing Tangerine Tomatoes, as well as some perennial plants, including tree guilds. I'll be posting in early December the trees I'll be ordering so that you can preorder for spring planting. Also, I'll be continuing to create new illustrations for stationary, available at the Bethel Lane Farm Stop, the Bloomington Farm Stop Collective, and Morgenstern Books.

Throughout the winter I will also share with you my other, food related passion, Lifestyle Medicine and Food as Medicine. This video I'm sharing is a conversation with Dr. Thomas Seyfried and two Oncologists, discussing cancer as a metabolic disease. Translated, this means it's not necessarily genetic, but food and lifestyle related. I hope this video provides you with helpful information you use and maybe share with your doctor.

Wishing all good health!

Hello friends! I'm beginning to plan Rezenience orders for 2025, and will be moving from selling annual vegetables, perennials, and tomatoes at local farm stops to perennials, and specially curated tomato seeds grown in Bloomington. If you are interested in planting fruit trees, varieties have yet to be selected, but the list is at the bottom of this post of the type of fruit trees I plan to order.

If you think you have no space, I can prune these trees into a very small stature, help you create an espalier, and plan out an traditional or spindle orchard or a forest garden. In the photo is one of the plans I created, with companion plants, for beauty and beneficial companion planting.

* apples
* crabapple
* pears
* apricots
* European pear
* plums
* nectarines

If you are interested in pre-orders directly through Rezenience, I'll provide a 10% discount for orders over $100, and 20% discount for orders above $200. These trees will be potted and not bare root, with the highest price approximately $50/tree.

Please make a comment with the type of tree and number you'd like. Please be aware that many trees need a pollinator, and that a crabapple will pollinate most all other apples.

This is it for the season!

Seeds are still being processed with current plans that they'll be available around mid-February next year.

Tomato season is wrapping up. Rezenience just dropped off the last of their tomatoes and there are still some from a few other farms. Come grab some of the last tastes of summer!
