Love is the dandelion
Once brought here
for medicine
And shunned
for corporate profit schemes
You keep weathering it
And we keep watering it
Stronger, it grows
We are all invasive
Species on this land
And our love will grow
Strong as the naturalized
Medicine you call weeds
You can poison your children
And roundup all you please
And I will keep teaching them

My first wild soup of Spring! Made a classic creamy bacon (dumpster) potato soup starring Nettles, Ramps, Cutleaf toothwort, Angelica, Garlic mustard, Burdock root, Watercress, Sumac, and the last of my prized Bee balm from last summer.

10/10 good 11/10 peppery
