🧻 Toilet Paper Drive 🧻
This month our Community Outreach Group collected and packed 174 rolls of toilet paper for our friends at VEAP! Toilet paper is one of their most requested items for our neighbors in need. We made quick work of dividing our packs into smaller bags to share with multiple households. We ended our time together with a few fun games, “Toss the Roll” and “Guess How Many Sheets!” Stay tuned for what fun this energetic group has planned for next month!

💝 Community Outreach 💝
Last month we kicked off a new resident led event, our Community Outreach Group! Residents came together with the idea of wanting to give back to those in need in our community. Their first project was compiling and donating Birthday Bags for VEAP, our local Bloomington community support center. These bags go out to children on their birthday, when families may otherwise not be able to afford a birthday cake, frosting, candles, sprinkles, etc. We were able to fundraise, shop for supplies and then pack the bags together. We ended up with a grand total of 31 bags! This means that every day for a month a child will get a birthday cake and celebration because of our efforts here. Stay tuned for our October project!
