We’re Hiring! Assistant Head Groom and Working Student (2 Positions Available)

With two of our wonderful girls headed back to school, we are currently looking to fill two grooming positions within our team. This role works directly alongside our Head Groom, Erin, supporting the daily management and care of our top-level sport horses.

Key Responsibilities:
• Show grooming at competitions
• Assisting with barn management and daily horse care
• Trailer driving
• Lunging and general horse handling

What We’re Looking For:
• Strong attention to detail
• A genuine passion for horses and horsemanship
• A team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
• A clear understanding that the horses always come first

Location & Benefits:
• Based in Charlottesville, VA, with winters spent in Ocala, FL
• Housing provided in both locations

-short strokes 3-6 inches

-Skin is the horses clothes start lighter to loosen the skin. Yet horse's like it deeper too.

-use your whole body and watch with soft eyes. The myofascial system is a self lubricating System. Watch the fluid dynamics under the skin.

Karen Stives, 1984 Olympics, Team Gold and Individual Silver Medalist.

📣 Celebrating an Equestrian Legend 🐎🏅

Today we honor Karen Stives, an extraordinary American eventing rider whose achievements helped shape modern equestrian sport. At the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, Karen made history by anchoring the U.S. team to Team Gold and earning Individual Silver, becoming one of the first women to medal individually in Olympic eventing.

Beyond her competitive success, Karen dedicated her life to the sport as a respected judge and U.S. team selector, mentoring future generations and strengthening eventing at the highest level. Her talent, leadership, and legacy continue to inspire riders around the world.
