I am currently reading, Us, by Terrence Real. He just shared, "We can change our responses. "Urgency is your enemy and breath is your friend. Breath can change your heart rate and your thinking physiologically."
He is speaking on relational mindfulness. Imagine how healed your relationships would feel if you accepted the pause and chose connection.
