I Just Shared My Story on My Favorite Podcast 🎙️💪

Today, I opened up like never before…

I shared my real, raw, and very personal journey through weight loss—and more importantly—how I kept it off.

This isn’t just about before and after photos.

This is about who I became in the process.
The internal battles.
The mindset shifts.
The discipline.
The days I wanted to quit… but didn’t.

Here’s a truth that most people don’t know:

👉 According to long-term studies, only about 20% of individuals who lose a significant amount of weight (without surgery) are able to maintain that weight loss long-term.

That means 4 out of 5 people gain it all back—or more.
Not because they’re lazy… but because the mental, emotional, and lifestyle changes required are HARD. Really hard.

But I’m proud to say I’m in that 20%. 🙏
And I didn’t get here alone. It took prayer, community, accountability, and a decision to show up every day even when it wasn’t pretty.

If you’re struggling, just know this:

📌 You’re not too far gone.
📌 You don’t need to be perfect.
📌 You just need to start… and keep showing up.

I’m not sharing this to say, “Look at me.”
I’m sharing it to say—If I can do it, you can too. 💯

This represents the 💯 lbs that I have BURNED over the last 5.5yrs journey on my pursuit of ENERGY.
💖Planking with 4x25lbs plates on my back.
That weight used to crush, defeat, trap, depress, suffocate, strangle, disengage, discourage, isolate, & have me question my worth.
“You can’t water a FAKE plant.” So thankful for that January day that I decided to meet the real me, & decide to BECOME HER 🖤💣🌟
I felt pretty BEAST mode not CRUMBLING under the weight of those LIES this morning.
🌈This has been a SPIRITUAL journey more than a weight loss story. This month I also CELEBRATE 10 years of getting to know Jesus & doing life with HIM.

Can’t believe at almost 37, I am for the first time in my life voluntarily running. Knocked this out this morning, just over 13 mins with a 40 lbs SLAM ball.
🦋 Yes people, I ran a mile 🙃 my running may be more like jogging, and I’m so proud of that.
🦋 Keep making positive changes.
❤️Stop worrying about what you need to stop doing.
💖Shift your focus to what you need to begin doing and just do it consistently fly.
💗Slowly the bad things fall away.

Good morning guys, been too long since my last post on my page. I want to rearrange my time and commit to making at least 1 solid post per week. Why? Because I want to share my journey with you, and inspire you to help take healthy back. This morning I want to remind you that to journey towards your goals, means you will have SUCK Days! Yep I said it. You will have days that you eat too much, don’t exercise, say things you wish you hadn’t, struggle mentally, struggle physically with pains/aches, etc. The encouraging news here, those days don’t define you. I’m choosing to keep focus on my goals, healthy lifestyle, food for fuel, positive mindset, grinder, pushing past my feelings. As June approaches, what goals do you have to finish out this unforgettable year?
