✨ A couple of weeks ago, Tati- our IVF RN Coordinator- and Aly, our Andrology Technician & Social Media Coordinator, were sent to ASRM in San Antonio to represent ICRM! 🤍

This annual fertility conference brings together clinics, labs, researchers, and innovators from around the world to share the latest advancements in reproductive medicine. From new technology and research to hands-on learning and networking with industry leaders, Tati and Aly spent the week soaking up knowledge to bring back to our patients and team.

✨ Let’s be honest- transvaginal ultrasounds can feel a little intimidating, especially when you’re starting IVF. But understanding what to expect can make the process a lot less daunting.

During your IVF cycle, ultrasounds play a key role in tracking your progress- from your baseline scan that checks your ovaries before medications start, to follicular ultrasounds that monitor your follicles as they grow. 💫

These scans help your care team fine-tune your treatment and ensure your body is responding just right- guiding every step toward your egg retrieval and beyond. 💚

🕊️ As we close out October, National Infant Loss Awareness Month, we pause to honor and remember all the families who have experienced loss at any stage of their journey.

Pregnancy and infant loss can occur in many forms- from chemical pregnancies, embryo loss, and ectopic pregnancies to miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal, or infant loss. Each represents a deeply personal experience of grief and love. 💗

At ICRM, we recognize that these losses are more common than many realize, yet often remain unspoken. We’re committed to providing compassionate care, open conversations, and resources for emotional healing for every patient walking through this journey.

✨Meet baby Corbin✨

After facing blocked fallopian tubes and a long road through IVF, Whitney’s story reminds us that hope can bloom from the hardest battles. Out of 18 eggs, just 3 made it through to embryos- and their first transfer brought little Corbin earthside. 💙

His two sisters are still frozen, waiting for their own moment.
Now, Whitney is paying that hope forward as a gestational carrier, helping another couple experience the same miracle.

“We know the struggle and emotions of infertility,” she shared, “and now I get to help grow their family while working toward bringing Corbin’s sisters home someday.” 💫

Employee Spotlight💡🔦✨

Step aside, humans. There is a true star behind the scenes at ICRM, and his name is Nyx.

This neon blue and fiery red betta isn’t just another pretty fish in the tank. He is the official emotional support supervisor of the MA station. With a tank full of lush real plants and a throne fit for a very tiny king, Nyx watches over our clinic like a gilled guardian angel. 👼🏼

Whether you are administering injections, scheduling ultrasounds, or just trying to remember to report Cycle Day 1, Nyx is there. He floats, supports, and occasionally blows bubbles of encouragement.

Let’s be honest. Nyx might actually be the perfect employee. He never calls in sick, never shows up late, and absolutely never forgets to chart. He requires no PTO, no coffee breaks, and handles stress with a simple tail flick and a well-timed side-eye. He works weekends, holidays, and every chaotic Monday morning without a single complaint. Although, to be fair, there are plenty of dramatic gill flares. He may also be the only fully hydrated employee in the entire clinic, and he absolutely knows it. 💦

The next time you are near the MA station, stop by and say hello to the real boss around here. and never forget: fertility is a journey, you just have to keep swimming. 🐠💙

Meet Ashley, Dr. Tobler’s Medical Assistant! Ashley has been with ICRM for nearly a year, and she says one of the best parts of her role is the meaningful friendships she’s built with her coworkers.

Ashley stood out as an amazing friend this past month. She earned eleven nominations from her peers and was named August’s Staff Member of the Month! One colleague shared “Ashley is always going above and beyond for her team as well for patients. She is always willing to lend a hand and makes sure to get the job done! She takes extra time and extra kindness to answer patient questions, so they feel seen and heard. I lover her so much!” 💙

When she’s not at the clinic, you can find Ashley working out with ICRM teammates, thrifting, walking the greenbelt, spending time with family, or playing with her sweet dog, Roxi. 🐾
