Tender Moments Birthing Services Tender Moments Birthing Services provides doula services and birth photography. Hi there! My name is Christina and I am a trained doula in the South Puget Sound.

Birth doulas are trained and experienced in childbirth to provide the laboring mother & her partner with continuous emotional & physical support, as well as assisting in gathering information for laboring parents to make informed decisions. We offer advice and hands on support with comfort measures, such as breathing, relaxation, movement & positioning. We are there to help support laboring parents goals, values, and to protect their memory of this amazing moment in their lives. We also help them to advocate for themselves by gathering all information, so laboring parents feel in control of their birthing process by being able to make informed decisions along the way. We also help care for partners and help them provide you with practical, loving, comfort measures. I also document these Tender Moments with birth photography at no additional cost to you, if you choose to use this service. Doulas have been proven to help lower c-section rate and the use of medical interventions. Also, with the use of a doula, babies are scoring higher APGAR scores.

I am excited to announce that I have finished all of my required reading and all of my other requirements for my official certification through Dona International!

Now, I need your help! I need one person who I have helped walk through that beautiful journey of labor and delivery to fill out a Dona reference form for me. This form will be given to you to fill out and then you will seal it in an envelope and give it back to me.
