Today reminded us that family isn’t just who you’re born to, it’s found in the people who make the world feel a little more like home. Thank you to every family member and friend who spent time with a loved one today. And thank you to our staff who showed up with the same steady care they bring daily, making sure our residents felt supported and loved through the holiday. We’re so grateful for every person who walks through our doors and every resident who allows us to be part of their life.

Transcendent Healthcare North wishes our community a safe, warm holiday season surrounded by the people who feel like home.

A special thank you to New Hope Community Church: Newburgh for the delicious cookies. We appreciate your continuous love and support so much. 💙

At Transcendent Healthcare North, we take pride in supporting residents through individualized therapy and rehabilitation that meets them exactly where they are. Miss Janice’s journey is one worth celebrating. She came to us with the goal of getting home safely and with determination and consistent support from our therapy team, she did exactly that!

When sharing her experience at North with our team, she was clear about what mattered to her. She felt supported, she’d recommend our therapy department, and she was thankful for her therapist, Adam, who she said made a real difference in her progress.

We’re so proud of her hard work and grateful she trusted us to walk beside her through her recovery. Her success is a reminder of why we do what we do and how powerful it can be when the right support meets the right determination. 💙

Resident Angel Tree is officially up at Transcendent Healthcare North!

Every tag on our tree represents one of our residents and lists items they can use or have personally requested. Adopting a resident for Christmas is easy! Choose a tag, shop as you’re able, and attach the tag to the outside of the gift bag. Please return all gifts to Katie Douglas at the facility no later than Friday, December 19th. We ask that gifts come in a gift bag with a little tissue paper to make opening easier for our residents.

We’re also proud to remind our community that we are a Toys for Tots donation station again this year. The donation box is located in the same entryway as the Angel Tree before you enter the facility. If you’d like to support local families as well, please drop off a new, unwrapped toy anytime.

Your generosity makes this season brighter for so many. Thank you for choosing to support our residents and our community. 💙

Tonight’s Family Thanksgiving Dinner reminded us why gathering matters. There’s something steadying about sharing a meal across generations and seeing families connect with residents and staff - surrounded by people they love. These moments are what make North feel like home.

Tonight also gave us a chance to celebrate something special. Our beautiful resident, Betty Dougan, turned 99 today! We were honored to celebrate her life, a true gift in itself. Happy 99th Birthday, Betty. We’re grateful to be part of your story.

A few of our ladies enjoyed a girls’ lunch outing to Olive Garden this afternoon and we couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. Thank you to their team for making our ladies feel welcome and cared for.

We are proud to provide outings like these here at Transcendent Healthcare North to help keep our residents engaged with the community. Today was a beautiful example of that. 💙

Our biweekly Rise and Revive program is becoming a resident favorite here at Transcendent Healthcare North!

This 30 minute, gentle, group exercise program helps our residents start the morning with movement and a little extra strength to carry into their daily routines.
Mobility activities like this keep our residents active in a supported environment.

We’re proud to offer wellness opportunities that meet each resident where they are. 💙

There’s nothing sweeter than small town kindness - except maybe a box of fresh donuts from Pioneer Bakery! Our residents and staff were treated to homemade pastries this morning from our favorite donut spot.

We love supporting local businesses that make our community feel like home. Thank you to Pioneer Bakery Boonville Indiana for spreading smiles (and frosting) here at Transcendent Healthcare North!

Transcendent Healthcare North was honored to be invited to Loge Elementary School PTO Veterans Day program today. Resident Joe Clarke, who proudly served in the U.S. Army for 12 years, joined staff member Katie Douglas for this special event and was recognized for his service.

We are so thankful to Loge Elementary for the invitation and for giving their students such a meaningful way to honor local veterans. We’re proud to partner with our local schools and community to bring experiences like this to our residents and to stay connected with the people who make Boonville such a special place to live. 🇺🇸

The Halloween fun didn’t stop this afternoon at Transcendent Healthcare North! We kept the celebration going with a Halloween party filled with cake, music, games, and more! Our residents had a great time enjoying the costumes, laughter, and time together. 💙

We also announced the winners of this years Staff Pumpkin Contest! Our 2025 Pumpkin Champion goes to Lynlee, Helping Hand with her pumpkin “Ms. Lavette”. Congratulations, Lynlee! Second and third place shout outs go to Mariah, Helping Hand with her pumpkin “S’mores by the Fire” and Karen, Director of Nursing with her pumpkin “Frankenstein”. Great job, ladies!

The fun wont stop - we will be passing out candy from 5 to 7 tonight. Come on by to see us!

One of our favorite Halloween traditions at Transcendent Healthcare North made its return today as the students from Loge Elementary School PTO walked across the street to sing for our residents in their Halloween costumes. These visits give our residents joy, connection, and a sense of community that can’t be replicated. It’s truly something we look forward to year after year.

Thank you to the staff and teachers at Loge for the heart you pour into your students and for continuing to include us in these special traditions. Moments like these remind us why we value our community partnerships so deeply. We are so grateful to continue to support and grow alongside our schools and community.
