Hats off to the PPG Paint Store in Evansville for donating the interior paint used for our kitchen, dining room, and the ceilings of our home. The guys even helped pick out a color palette to go well with the woodwork. 🥰 They were great! We highly recommend going to see them for your paint projects!

Deonna is our first resident at The House of Palms! She has been with Warrick County Recovers since before it technically existed. She was there when we started our NA group. Then she started the AA group! Now she is a participant and the house leader for our women's program! We are excited for her to be able to go through our program in this leadership position!

It is such a blessing to witness members of our recovery community blossom. 💜

Special thanks goes out to 4J's Hardware for all of their help with supplies to fix up this house! Jamie went through our entire needs list and donated every item they had on the list! ❤️
Of course, they have also helped guide us on how to do some of the repairs! We are so grateful for their expertise and their love for our community. We hope you shop 4J's when you have a project because they are amazing! And also because supporting 4J's Hardware also supports our community!

This will be our last weekend working on the women's home! Our website is in progress; applications for participants will open when it goes live next week! Let's finish making this house a home and fill it with love. 💜

This weekend we will paint the exterior of the house, complete the covered porch, and finish up the inside. Additional volunteer opportunities are available Thursday and Sunday 12-4 pm. Donations are now being accepted for furnishings. Some things we could use are adult twin size bunk beds, storage furniture, bath towels, toiletries, and kitchenware.
