🦃 Johan brought out the big feathers this week at Brookdale Westampton for our annual Turkey Toss! This time, he suited up as The Gobbledygooker — a nod to WWE’s classic Thanksgiving mascot (because yes, he’s a big wrestling fan). The residents had a blast, and the Gobbledygooker definitely stole the show! 💪🦃

🦃 Johan brought the Thanksgiving fun to Summit Place Assisted Living in Glassboro with a Turkey Toss Challenge! Residents showed off their aim (and plenty of laughter) as they tried to land their turkeys in the baskets. Gobbles, giggles, and good times all around! 🍂🧺

"To the Staff of Serenity Hospice,

I would like to convey my utmost gratitude to all the staff. My [loved one] was a patient in your unit until his passing. He received exemplary care from moment one. It had been a long 34 days fighting for his wishes to be recognized and honored. Once those were finally established, he was transferred to Serenity Hospice. When I arrived the next day to see him, for the first time in 35 days he was sleeping comfortably.

Aesthetically the unit was peaceful and clean. Every staff member that I came into contact with was fantastic! Helpful, empathetic, knowledgeable, kind, understanding, and skilled in their scope of practice. Our family dynamics were taken into consideration and managed professionally and appropriately.

You are all such very special people. I am a firm believer that God puts each of us where He needs us, so please know that right now — at this moment — Serenity Hospice is where you belong, because a family like mine needs you.

Thank you for affording my loved one every dignity and comfort possible in his last days, and thank you for helping this daughter keep that promise to him.
