Don’t get me wrong, I do A LOT behind the scenes for these 2 squids. Though biased, I find it remarkable that a 6 and 5 yr old are excited to WORK for their money. Yes, every $ of profit goes directly to THEM! I am so grateful, we all are, for those who have supported. Regardless if you’ve spent a single dollar or not!

Sometimes even just liking or sharing a post or the, “you guys are doing a great job or we love your passion/work ethic/candles.” Even the, “ehh I don’t like this scent thay much,” HELPS! Whatever it may be, whether you think it helps OR NOT, I promise it keeps Claire and Decker, inspired. Determined. Let down. Built up. Stronger. Resilient.

I want to let myself think and do believe we and so so many others, spoil them, however, it’s never too early to let them start understanding work ethic, finances, supervised adult decision making and the most important. Being humble, grateful and wanting to give back. I, (we) are doing our best to not only provide for them yet set them up to be self sufficient with all types of education. Biased or not, they are ABSOLUTELY crushing it! Just to see them work a table, bring people to the table, explain products, promotions, etc. for 4 hours was 🤯 and so proud of them.

Oh and did I mention, THEY EACH banked $80 in 4hrs minus expenses of around $200!! Talk about keeping them motivated…….I didn’t need to, they did it all themselves!

I am posting this for a few reasons, however, the main reason is so one day (not too far away,) they can read this and know how proud I, along with their mom, family and friends are of these little hustling squids. Just remember Claire and Decker. You’ll never hustle Dad, that’s for damn sure! I love you both to infinity and beyond and don’t ever stop being genuine, good people with their hearts in the right place!

Allow me (us) to reintroduce ourselves….. and who we are! My name is Claire and my brother is Decker…. Yet Dad is typing this! We had big dreams of starting a business pre-Covid. We talked about things like lemonade stands and selling toys and even renting one another out for chores. We love to have fun, read, play sports and pranks. Only on Dad or we would get in a lot of trouble. We couldn’t do a lot of things because of the sickness and when Dad had the idea to make candles for Mom for Mother’s Day, we loved it. After we made them I (Claire) said, “Dad, these smell wicked (word daddy doesn’t like) good. He said, “What?” And I (decker) said, “Dad, it’s not really a bad word.” But that’s when it hit. WicKID Good Candles! And here we are. Once we started to get some sales we decided we wanted to give back and reached out to and decided we would donate 10% of all sales to help support that so many people go through or know someone who has. It’s getting out of control and even more so because of the pandemic and we are going to continue to do what we can to support! We are young, bold, smart and will be successful because we don’t give up! Thank you all who have supported whether purchasing candles or even just liking and sharing our posts! Oh, and yes… we help make them just not when it gets too hot to pour, that’s dads job! ***among others*** ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
