The East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC) has been a vital part of the community for more than 50 years. From the beginning, our organization has been defined by the needs of East Boston and the communities we serve. We are the largest ambulatory care center in New England and more than half of our patients are best served in a language other than English. Our mission is to promote and sustain healthy communities, families, and individuals by providing accessible, person-centered, compassionate, high-quality health care services to all who live and work in our service area, regardless of ability to pay, while upholding diversity, equity, and inclusion at the core of all that we do. The East Boston Neighborhood Health Center is a deemed federal Public Health Service Employee.

🍂 What a fantastic day in East Boston!
Thank you to everyone who joined our Fall Family Health Fair — to our community members who got their flu and COVID shots, our incredible sponsors and partners, and all the families who came out to celebrate health.

We're especially grateful for all our sponsors and volunteers, who made this event a success! A special thank you to Shaw's Supermarket for donating the pumpkins — the kids loved painting them! 🎃, to our food vendors who kept everyone fed, and to the VROCC music group, whose rhythms filled the event with joy.

Earlier this week, we came together with state leaders, health experts, and advocates to talk about what’s next for maternal health equity in Massachusetts. The discussion shed light on the urgent need to better support Black, Latino, and Indigenous birthing communities — and the progress being made thanks to the 2024 Maternal Health Omnibus Law.

What an inspiring morning at the 2025 El Mundo Boston Hispanic Heritage Breakfast! 🌟 This year’s theme, 𝘓𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, highlighted how educators can change the course of a child’s life, encouraging them never to give up despite the challenges they face.

💙 Last week we celebrated 𝟯𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 Neighborhood PACE—helping older adults live healthy, independent lives. As part of the celebration, our Revere center was rededicated as the 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮 & 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲, honoring longtime board chair Rita Sorrento’s incredible dedication to older adults. ⁣
