3 crucial truths I wish I learned sooner:
👉🏽 1. Nobody cares. This one is harsh, I know, but the uncomfortable truth is that at the end of the day, nobody actually cares. We spend so much time worrying about the opinions of others that we neglect and sabotage ourselves trying to please other people. Most people are too focused on themselves to worry about you, and that’s a superpower.
👉🏽 2. Nobody else can fix how you feel. Woof, this one was even more brutal than the first one. For so long I was waiting for someone or something to finally make me feel better about my life and myself, and eventually I realized that nobody else is capable of doing that, because my problems were due to my own thinking and feeling patterns. When I fixed those, my life started to feel better.
👉🏽 3. It’s your responsibility to become the best you can be. A happy and fulfilling life will never come from chasing pleasure; I’ve tried it, it doesn’t work. New things and experiences are nice, but they aren’t what make us feel alive. Growing, evolving, exploring your inner world and getting better, that’s what makes life meaningful, and when I started chasing growth, everything in my life started being so much better.
✨ These lessons can save your life if you learn to use them ✨
