I currently have two 1:1 spots open for women in their 40s to eliminate gut issues and/or improve symptoms of perimenopause.

Comment “ME” below and I’ll send you the link to book a consult call.

Your body in your 40s is different than it was in your 30s. It requires a different strategy, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Weight loss perimenopause gut health functional medicine

If you are struggling to lose weight in your 40s and feel like you’ve gained weight overnight without changing your diet or exercise, this post is for you.

There are a number of shifts that can happen in your body in your 40s - everything from fluctuating progesterone levels affecting sleep to increased cortisol sensitivity, which is why what worked in your 20s and 30s isn’t working this time.

These changes can also include elevated insulin levels as a result of declining estrogen levels, which can contribute to fat storage and decreased fat burning.

How do you know what’s contributing to your weight gain in your 40s - and whether insulin is an issue for you? I didn’t know it was for me until I tested my fasting insulin levels.

I have a completely free guide on the labs to request in your 40s, including the exact blood sugar markers to monitor to determine if blood sugar issues are contributing to your weight gain.

Comment “LABS” below, and I’ll DM you the link to download my free lab guide. It’s never too early in your 40s to get a baseline of your blood sugar levels, a complete picture of your thyroid health, and an understanding of what your female hormone levels look like.

Still struggling with bloating, constipation, or unpredictable bathroom trips even though all your labs are “normal”? You don’t have to just accept it.

I’ve opened the final 10 gut testing spots for 2025. This test goes beyond bloodwork, colonoscopies, and endoscopies to show what’s really driving your gut issues so we can create a targeted healing plan.

Bonus: grab one of the 10 spots and get free access to my Digestive Fix course (normally $999) with step-by-step guidance on what to eat, how to eat, and the foundational supplements for lasting gut relief.

⏰ Spots are limited and the offer expires November 28.

I’ll never forget walking into a doctor’s office 12 years ago, filling out a questionnaire, and being told to start medication for bipolar disorder after just a 10-minute meeting.

No other doctor had ever even considered that diagnosis—and it hasn’t been mentioned since.

Thankfully, I trusted my gut and dug deeper before starting those meds, even though I had no idea what steps to take—especially in a time when the long-term effects weren’t well understood.

I want to be clear: I’m not anti-medication. Modern medicine is an incredible gift. If medication is working for you and feels like the right answer, don’t let me or anyone else tell you otherwise.

That said, most of the clients I work with are taking an SSRI, yet they still feel anxious, exhausted, bloated, and like their GI tract is a complete disaster.

What I am against is prescribing an SSRI for a collection of symptoms without ever investigating the root cause—or offering any guidance beyond another medication—especially when the first prescription doesn’t really make you feel better.

Call me crazy, but why keep doing the same thing when it’s really not working?

If you’re ready to take a deeper look, comment “labs” below, and I’ll automatically DM you the list of foundational labs I use with my 1:1 clients.

Hear me out on this.

👉🏻But first, DM me “QUIZ,” and I’ll send you the link to take my 7-question quiz. This will help you uncover if stress is a hidden cause of your gut problems that you can’t seem to solve, along with the exact next steps to take. (I’m giving you the playbook—no gatekeeping here).

All the supplements, protocols, and clean eating won’t work if the food you’re eating and the supplements you’re taking are going into a stressed-out gut and nervous system. 🤭

(read that again)

This might be why:
👏🏻You’re eating clean
👏🏻Taking a probiotic
👏🏻Have gone to the doctor, received an IBS diagnosis, and maybe even tried functional labs

Yet you’re still struggling with bloating, constipation or loose stools, fatigue, and anxiety.

Don’t get me wrong—the right functional and conventional labs to uncover the dysfunction happening in your gut, personalized supplements, and a nourishing gut-healing and anxiety-managing nutrition plan are incredibly important for eliminating your gut symptoms.

I use them in practice every single day.

I’ve studied nutrition for a decade, but if your plan to heal your gut doesn’t include a step-by-step process to calm your nervous system and reprogram your beliefs around healing, it’s going to lead to a lot of wasted time and money.

It’s biologically impossible to heal your gut if your body and nervous system are stuck in fight or flight.

I’ve been there too.
😩 So overwhelmed by the amount of information online.
😩 So overwhelmed by ordering every supplement someone posted, yet not seeing any relief for my anxiety or constipation.
😩 Knowing there was more to my symptoms than just anxiety or a thyroid issue causing my fatigue, weight gain, and constipation.

There were very few answers for me over 10 years ago, which is why I decided to do something about it and create the solutions myself.

This is why I created my brand-new 7-question quiz to help you discover if stress is a hidden cause of your gut symptoms and the exact next steps.

No more guessing.

👉🏻DM me “QUIZ,” and I’ll send you the link to get started on finally eliminating your gut problems for good and better managing your nervous system.
