From the West Coast to the Midwest and finally to the mountains, Leah’s journey to AFC is as impressive as it is unique. She began her career at UC Santa Cruz with a double major in Environmental Studies and Film & Digital Marketing before finding her true calling in healthcare.

Leah completed nursing school at Missouri Western State University and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Graceland University. Today, she brings that wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping others to our clinic every day.

For Leah, the best part of AFC is the incredible teamwork and the chance to make a real difference in our patients' lives.

When Michelle first stepped into an AFC Urgent Care as a Nurse Practitioner in Denver, she knew she had found something special. After working in various clinics around town, the difference in patient experience at AFC was undeniable.

That spark turned into a dream. In 2019, Michelle took the leap from the exam room to business ownership, opening her first franchise in Louisville. Fast forward to today, and she is proud to lead 4 clinics across Boulder County! 🏔️

From day one in healthcare back in 2013, Bree has led with compassion. She began as a Radiologic Technologist, caring for patients across ER, Orthopedics, and Urgent Care, then earned her Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration while working full-time.

In 2019, she helped open the Amacker family’s first AFC Urgent Care location in Boulder County as Center Administrator. Now, with four clinics serving the community, Bree leads as Director of Operations—supporting staff, strengthening culture, and helping ensure patients get the care they need, when they need it.

A proud Colorado native, wife, and mom, Bree brings that same heart into everything she does—whether she’s at the clinics, on a hiking trail, skiing, paddle boarding, or volunteering at church.
