In case you need some inspo, here are some meals I’ve loved lately:

1. Meal prepped green goddess meatballs and Japanese sweet potato (NYT recipe, so easy it’s basically ground chicken, green goddess dressing, panko breadcrumbs, 1 egg and then you bake them)

2. My current breakfast fixation: toast with PB, berries, h**p hearts for extra protein

3. Turkey burgers. I chop red pepper, zucchini and then add feta cheese to the turkey with salt, garlic and pep

4. In and out opened near me 😍

5. Ricotta toast

6. Chickpeas, kale and with rice

7. Standard bowl of oatmeal - always hits

8. pizza is everything

9. A wrap of some sort. Lately with a veggie burger

It doesn’t have to be complicated and it doesn’t have to look one way. Anything you’ve been enjoying lately??

Turns out you can improve your labs without making extreme changes to your diet or taking random supplements or doing expensive testing.

Slowing down, working through food rules and negative stories that prevent you from eating consistently and from including all foods groups is highly underrated. Consistent eating, bringing in mindfulness, getting reacquainted with hunger and fullness cues and allowing protein, carbs, fats, plants to exist at every meal really is the secret.

Healing is freaking beautiful.

It might not feel like it but practicing acceptance is really a way to bring you more peace.

Today a client asked me how she can start consistently cooking for herself when she absolutely hates it but simultaneously hates spending money on takeout.

My answer was practicing acceptance. Can you cook and hate it but do it anyways because it ultimately aligns with your values or can you accept that you hate it and just order takeout without the judgement. The choice is ultimately hers but the goal is to make a choice and stop fighting either option. πŸ™

PSA - children that are put on diets end up being adults that have very painful, dysfunctional relationships with food and their bodies. I’m sending a hug to anyone that was told they needed to change their body at a young age, that never should have happened 🩷

I’m so grateful for this life πŸ©·πŸ™
