South Jordan had the best time hosting a Candle-Making Networking Event earlier this month 🕯️✨

It was such a great opportunity for local providers to connect, get to know one another, and build meaningful relationships within our community. Between pouring candles and choosing scents, we had thoughtful conversations about how we can better support the clients and families we serve.

We also loved sharing more about our program at OCD Anxiety Centers and how we partner with providers when clients need a higher level of care for OCD and anxiety disorders.

There’s something special about stepping away from the office, creating something with your hands, and having real, intentional conversations. We’re so grateful for the collaboration and community we’re building together. 🤍

Joshua Gubler, Regional Director of Clinical Outreach, explains how the false alarm can show up - and how the brain is

Understanding OCD and anxiety starts with this: it’s not just in your thoughts—it’s rooted in how your system responds to perceived threats.
These conditions are biologically based, meaning your body can signal danger even when no real threat is present. That’s why it can feel so real, so urgent, and so hard to ignore.
Curious what this could look like for you? Start by learning more, asking questions, and exploring your options. Call or visit our website today!

A false alarm in the brain can keep the anxiety cycle going. 🚨🧠
For people with anxiety or OCD, the brain’s threat system can become overactive sending warning signals even when there isn’t real danger. That relief can inadvertently teach the brain the wrong lesson, keeping the cycle going.
Evidence-based treatments like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) help retrain the brain’s alarm system so it can respond more accurately over time.
Does this cycle feel feel familiar? We can help. Send us a DM or reach out online: https://zurl.co/4Uq1v

Be the buffalo. 🦬
Most animals run from storms.
Buffalo walk straight into them.
Facing anxiety works in a similar way. Moving through the feeling, rather than avoiding it, can help you discover how much you’re truly capable of - and we can help.
Who are you bringing with you, straight through the storm? Tag them here 👇

Starting treatment can feel scary and uncertain and that’s okay.
Kaia, a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), shares that healing often means facing the very fears we’ve been trying to avoid. Take it one day at a time and give yourself the space to grow through the process.
