It’s March! Happy Social Work Month to all of the wonderful Social Workers out there! 🥰

I’ve been in the social work field for over a decade now. In that time I’ve had the privilege to work in case management, youth residential, substance abuse, crisis work, special education, community mental health, inpatient mental health, employee assistance programs, and private practice.

Being given the opportunity to advocate for others and have people trust me in their most vulnerable moments is something I have never taken lightly. It is a privilege, not a right, that I have been given as a social worker, and I will always remain humble and try my hardest to provide the best care that I can to all those that I serve!

Always remember, WE work for YOU. If something doesn’t seem right or you don’t understand something ASK! I have always told people that even if they find that they aren’t comfortable talking to me, let me know and I’ll help them find someone else. You should never feel like you have to stick with someone just because they are what you know. 😊
