MSHP is seeking pharmacists interested in representing Massachusetts in the ASHP House of Delegates. Nominations close Nov 14, 2025.

If you’re passionate about pharmacy policy, leadership, and shaping the future of our profession, this is your opportunity.

Self-nominations welcome.

Nominee requirements:
• Licensed pharmacist + ASHP member
• 4-year Delegate term + 1-year Alternate term (March 2026–January 2031)
• Attend required annual meetings:
– Regional Delegate Conference (Apr 25–28, 2026)
– ASHP Pharmacy Futures HOD Sessions (Jun 14 & 16, 2026 – St. Louis)
– Virtual HOD meetings in March, May, November
• Participate in MA Legislative Committee activities
• Share policy updates and gather member feedback

Advocacy Day 2025

Nearly 150 pharmacists, pharmacy students, pharmacy technicians, legislators, and pharmacy allies joined our Advocacy Day call on 10/24/2025. Thank you for showing up for patients and the profession!

MSHP is proud to stand alongside MPhA, MIPA, and MCPC in support of these priority bills:
• H1274 340B non-discrimination by PBMs
• H1313 Patient choice for clinician-administered drugs
• H4332 Pharmacists recognized and reimbursed as healthcare providers
• H4346 Access to prescription medications by defining Maximum Allowable Costs
• H1364 / S724 Promoting healthcare access and affordability

MSHP is especially focused on H1274, H1313, and H4332 because these bills protect safety-net care, preserve patient choice, and recognize the clinical services pharmacists provide every day.

We were proud to have MSHP President Wilkocki, PharmD, represent our organization during the event. Special thanks to our partners at Lanton Law — Lanton and Sosa — for breaking down the details and educating the legislators and listeners who joined.

Together, we will keep patients at the center, strengthen access, and advance pharmacy practice in Massachusetts.
