Our Field Day Operation was a true reflection of Living Well Community Care Center’s holistic mission 🤍
In the aftermath of devastation, our team came together to meet the community where they were; starting with our nurse intake station, where triage nurses assessed each individual to determine their medical needs. Those who required further care were seen by our doctor, while others were provided with care packages filled with support and reassurance.
We were honored to have Dr. Joan Williamson, CEO & Founder, leading this effort, along with special guest Dr. Franco Pencle of , whose presence and service made a meaningful difference. For those in need of medication, we provided temporary supplies to support them until they could follow up with their primary care providers.
We also made our children a priority. With many affected by the hurricane, some displaced and unable to attend school —we ensured teachers were on-site to engage them in educational games and provided books and coloring activities to keep young minds active and encouraged.
This is what community care looks like—compassion, healing, and hope in action. ✨🌱💚🖤💛
