Starting April 11th and going for 6 weeks I have put together The Habits Challenge!

The challenge is $20 (less that $4 a week) and we all will be able to check in together here or via email to support and share wins!!

If you want to participate DM or Email me at befit406@gmail.com

The thing is…

You are allowed to start over as many times as you want! You are allowed to reset and regroup at any point in the day!

It doesn’t have to be a “Monday” thing or a “new year” ordeal! It can be right now!

Choosing to drink water all day rather than soda and energy drinks!
Choosing to make your lunch and breakfast so you don’t eat out!
Choosing a walk rather than Netflix

The past 3 days I have been focused on a reset for my nutrition- this has been my breakfast and lunch;
-greek yogurt with berries, granola, chia seeds, flax, pecans and a drizzle of agave(takes less than 5 minutes to make)
-Costco kale salad mix with Costco pre cooked chicken pieces (takes less than 5 minutes to make)

It doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective!! There are no excuses when you want it 😉

2009 Nettie understood what 2021 Nettie was going to be all about

“Who says you have to live life by the books, be the one to make the statement not the one writing it down. Be the person you wish to have in your life, not who everyone else wants in theirs. Show yourself that you can master any task thrown at you, not only helping others conquor theirs.”

I hope you are doing all the things for yourself and not living this life for anyone but you! ♥️

Reminder

You knew this was coming don’t lie 😉
Incase nobody has told you yet
-you don’t have to earn todays feast
-you don’t have to work off the meal
-yes you can have two pieces of pie
-you can have that cocktail or beer

Remember we are trying to build a healthy relationship with food! Meaning we are not going to get ourselves worked up over ONE DAY! We are going to laugh, eat, drink and enjoy the company we are with!

Then we regroup tomorrow ♥️

I had goals

This month I had some goals for myself…
-workout at least 5 days a week
-not use my Apple Watch at all this month while working out so I can focus on how I feel and get back in tune with my body
-get like 75% of my Christmas shopping done
-limit/ watch my booze intake (again trying to get back in tune with me body)

Your goals don’t always have to be extreme and they don’t always have to have a value tied to them! Start small and focus on what means the most to you!

I hope everyone has a great Thursday!

I’ve stopped

Trying to impress others… and so should you
Be better than anybody but myself… and so should you
Giving into societal stigmas around how I should look… and so should you

Nobody is a better judge of your body than YOU! Especially not some stranger on the internet, or that girl who peaked in high school trying to tell you keto is your bestie 👎🏻

Keep grinding crew! Keep pushing and always do it for you!

Once you know

Once you know how your body feels at a certain weight you can decide if you need to be a different one.
What do I mean?
I weigh 153 lbs ish- I have been between 150-155 for almost 2 years now! Maintainer win 🥇

When you do a BMI on me for my height I am considered overweight! Am I overweight? No I am not, I am a lot of muscle and there is no way you will get this body to the recommendation of 130 because I don’t want to lose muscle!

Be careful with yourself and the goals you set for the scale! I know I feel best at this weight, my clothes fit better, I am stronger and I just think I all around look better!

Treat yourself with kindness and remember the scale is not always right 🤷🏻‍♀️

Let me tell you a secret

Long post ahead:
Your “diet” isn’t going to work forever 🤭
It may seem shiny and new and exciting and “oh it worked for her” but you are not her, your body needs something sustainable and needs to be nourished!

Not eating proteins, carbs or fats is a recipe for disaster later when you get hungry… and you will get hungry. Then you feel you failed and you quit. When I’m reality you just restricted yourself for no reason.

Being in my profession I see so many people posting about their new diets and how they can’t eat this or that yet they are not exercising or dealing with their mental status! All of this plays a role in your fitness and if you reach your goals or not! My heart breaks!

Please remember there is no quick fix- you may lose 25 lbs on this new trend you do BUT if you stop I promise it will come back and that’s no way to live! ♥️

Info post about new program:

Yesterday I tested out the glute and hamstring part of the program I’m making y’all!

Just a reminder that this program coming will be a shred/lean out but that will only happen IF you are eating in a deficit (info will be in the guide on that) but the program is designed to work for what you want!
If you were someone who wants muscle gain you can do this program too but eat in a surplus to put on that beef!

No you will not need a heavy barbell set to do this program but it is designed for that! (Don’t worry I have modifications for those at home)

Excited is an understatement! If you are looking for a new program or looking to start one then I have news! My website ...

Be Fit 406 - Fitness & Nutrition

I'm Nettie Caine, the owner and founder of Be Fit 406 based out of Montana. My passion is to help individuals reach all of their personal fitness and nutrition goals through guidance and support. I believe everyone deserves a life of strength and confidence and can be of free from ailments that keep them from their healthiest self.

At a young age, I wanted to find ways to help people on the preventative side of health. Our bodies are capable of so many things and sometimes we just need a push in the right direction to make it happen. Being a competitive dancer

since the age of 5, I learned ways to strengthen and support my body through cross-training, learning the correct muscles to use, and ways to recover from injuries.

I brought my passion for personal health into my education through a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University in Exercise Science and in Food and Nutrition, focusing on Dietetics. I learned quickly that I wanted to be a personal trainer and nutrition coach, and my education fueled my fire for more knowledge, so I followed my graduation by receiving certifications from the National Association of Sports Medicine.
