Mindfully Safe: Aware • Avoid • Evade • Escape
Just in time for the holidays, fifth-degree karate black belts and yoga teachers Anne and Chris Altizer present Mindfully Safe—a hands-on self-defense and situational awareness seminar for adults and students (ages 10+).
In this practical, empowering session, participants learn and practice the essential skills of being Aware, Avoiding, Evading, and Escaping. Mindfully Safe focuses on preserving both your physical safety and peace of mind—whether you’re out alone or with others.

While the threat of physical or sexual violence is rare, it is real—and everyone can take steps to reduce risk. Situational awareness and informed confidence are often all it takes. Predators seek victims; trained people don’t look like victims.


You’ll practice the two most effective tools—mind and voice—and have the opportunity to try simple techniques designed to help you create space and stay safe. Open to all levels of physical ability. Wear everyday clothes. Hands-on contact is optional and carefully supervised.

You can enter the code through Mindbody Online https://www.theyogabarre.studio/
(not the app) and once you’re signed up, the Mindbody app makes it super easy to book classes. All packages and memberships can be used at both of our studio locations. You can start coming to LWRanch immediately and just a few more days for NRRanch 🙏🏻
