Back in the office after 5 days of teaching & helping other dentists who came from all over the map. It’s great being back surrounded by my team as if I never left. Here’s a stunning case to start off the month. Our patient left with a new set of temporary teeth the day of surgery. He can now enjoy his temporary smile & start enjoying the foods he loves until the final zirconia set finishes up 💯. until then, our patient can tell us what he would like changed in shape. These are just the temps 🔥. Leaving with teeth the same day or next day is important to our patients & to us. We do everything we can to make sure our Esteem Dental Implant patients leave with teeth so they can start enjoying a better self esteem right away. This image is of an amazing patient of ours showing off his “healing smile”. In a couple of months we will ask him what his likes/dislikes are about them which will help us order the final zirconia version to blow him away. He deserves this!! 👏🏼

Calling a patient the day before their appointment will change your practice 🔑 . This is one of the best pieces of advice I received as a young dentist. If you are in the dental field, you probably met a dentist or knew a dentist that called their patients a day before or maybe you already do that. I believe we all should even if we’re busy. If you want to take it to the next level and set yourself apart, it only takes a few more calls. Call and introduce yourself to the next days patients. It’s easy , short, and simple. It will decrease no shows and increase trust. ✅

You may be wondering, “what does he say?” Here’s my memorized script: “Hey [insert name here], this is Jacob Berger, I’m the dentist you’ll be meeting tomorrow. I wanted to call and introduce myself and see if there is anything I can do to make your appointment successful or special tomorrow”.

They usually say “no, but I want to know more about [insert concern here]”.

I will usually respond with : “ great, I’ll be sure to discuss that with you tomorrow. Have a great evening and see you at 9. Pop in a few minutes early to fill out you new patient paperwork. I look forward to meeting you.”

If you are too busy for this or this isn’t your thing, that’s okay. Like I said, it will set you apart. We aren’t all looking to be set apart. Be normal. I’ll be weird 😏😎.
