Our Story:

Rockland Recovery Treatment Center is located in Weymouth, MA with sober living homes in Rockland, MA, Weymouth MA, and Dorchester, MA. We are here to help with all your recovery needs. Also, we make sure you have support and assistance with any other issues you may be having due to your addiction, such as family, work, legal, etc. We design therapeutic programs to help clients and their families understand how to be supportive during treatment. Here at Rockland Recovery, we are committed to doing all we can to help you achieve sobriety. We find the most fulfilling part is when we see men move on to be the father, son, brother, uncle, employer that they were unable to be due to their addiction. Painful memories don’t just stay in the past.
They live in the body.

For many people in recovery, trauma can show up as anxiety, emotional flooding, numbness, or reactions that feel sudden and hard to control. These aren’t personal failures - they’re nervous system responses.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-informed therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they feel less overwhelming. The memory remains, but the emotional charge softens.

When the nervous system is no longer stuck in survival mode, people gain more capacity for regulation, honesty, and meaningful recovery work. Triggers become more manageable. The work becomes more sustainable.

Healing isn’t about erasing the past.
It’s about helping the present feel safer.
