Most people do RDLs like a regular deadlift.

When done this way they end up feeling it in their lower back instead of their glutes.

The problem with that?

Bending over instead of hinging at the hips.

When your back rounds your glutes and hamstrings stop doing the work they’re supposed to.

So how do you fix this?

Slow it down and hinge.

Keep your back flat like a tabletop and drive through the heel

A B-stance is a great way to isolate each side and make sure the right muscles are being used.

Hip thrusts are an essential movement if you’re building a lifted peach 🍑
It’s not about piling on weight—it’s about how you move it. Form over weight every time. Control the tempo, squeeze your glutes hard at the top, and avoid overextending your lower back.
And don’t sleep on foot placement. Your feet should be positioned so your shins are close to vertical at the top of the movement. Too far out and you’ll feel it in your hamstrings; too close and your quads take over.
Dial in the setup, slow it down, and let the glutes do the work. The results will follow
