The I in DEI is supposed to stand for INCLUSION. But, like SBA Certification... only veteran, women and able owned businesses are included. Meanwhile a majority of Americans with Disabilities are still excluded. That's not diversity that's discrimination. đŸ˜¢

DYK passed bi-partisan HB 14-1051 promising to end the IDD / Medicaid waitlist by 2020, but as of MARCH 2026 one party rule has still FAILED to fund that promise. Today, thousands of Colorado’s most vulnerable citizens are still languishing on waitlists for years while politicians prioritize undocumented recipients and ineligible providers... instead of the people these programs were created and intended to help.

LET THAT SINK IN.

Bi-partisan HB 14-1051 passed a republican state senate and democrat state house in Colorado. It was signed by then Governor John Hickenlooper. It's 2026 and thousands of American citizens with disabilities in Colorado remain unfunded and on waitlists while ineligible recipients are prioritized over the most vulnerable.

The I in DEI used to stand for inclusion... but like local politicians say THEY DECODE who they include regardless of documented disabilities, diagnosis and limitations. That's the difference between and unlawful policies... remember wanting to be included equally is not about defunding or diminishing other cause... even though they do it to us.
