I don’t know what to say about what I just went through, but it shook me. Life is fragile. Life is so hard sometimes. And the pain of depression, sorrow, and all the stuff that can get heaped on us, especially this time of year, can be pretty dreadful. Be the light in somebody else’s darkness.

Replying to Hoesl, when I realized the root causes of both Hashimoto’s and menopause overlap, things began to change. The same habits that support hormone balance also support thyroid health, and the same strategies that reduce inflammation for Hashimoto’s also ease menopause symptoms. When I rebuilt my sleep, stress, circadian rhythm, nutrition, and recovery systems, both my menopause symptoms and my Hashimoto’s improved. Healing one helped heal the other, because women’s hormones and thyroids are deeply connected.

Put yourself to bed and let the night crew clock in. Let your circadian rhythm tuck you back into life. You are trying to build.

Excuse the frog in my throat at the end. Worrying is a mental habit that involves repetitive, negative thoughts about future events that may never happen. It stems from our brain's innate desire to predict and control outcomes to avoid danger and ensure safety. However, this protective mechanism often backfires, causing more harm than good. The answer? Focus on the solution. You only have so much energy, don’t put it toward worry.
