Our Applewood unit recently received a beautiful renovation as part of our Program, and the transformation has brought new life and joy to our residents, families, and team.

The cozy corner, our Dayroom and newly installed sensory wall have quickly become favorite spots — inviting engagement, sparking memories, and encouraging calm moments of connection. These interactive boards are designed to support residents living with dementia, promoting sensory stimulation, motor skills, and emotional well-being in a comforting and dignified way.

Seeing our residents explore, smile, and interact with the wall reminds us why person-centered care matters so deeply. Every detail — from the textures to the sounds — was chosen to create meaningful moments that honor each individual’s journey.

It’s more than a remodel — it’s a reminder that even small changes can make a big difference in how our residents feel, connect, and thrive!

For this week's , we are showcasing our attendance at the Walk to Fight Alzheimer’s in Point Pleasant, NJ at Jenkinson's Boardwalk and Jenkinson's Aquarium! This event brought our community together in an incredible way, raising over $185,000 in support of the Alzheimer's New Jersey mission.

We are deeply grateful to every walker, donor, and volunteer who helped make this event such a powerful reminder of what community truly means.

At our center, we walk not only in honor of those we’ve lost, but for the caregivers, the families, and those living with Alzheimer’s today. Together, we continue to raise awareness, hope, and support for a future defined by compassion and progress.
