Santa came early this year. The office got a new gadget to help aid in healing and improve health outcomes. Welcome our new GVL laser from Erchonia. If you have been patients for a while, you know that Dr. Jack has always loved and wanted to add laser therapy to the clinic. This is a class 2 laser which doesn’t produce heat, but stimulates the mitochondria to produce ATP (cellular energy). This is a non invasive alternative to pain relief and we are so excited to add it into our practice. This is the most energetic laser that erchonia has to offer and it holds 22 of 24 FDA clearances for pain relief.

The Thanksgiving holiday week is upon us and our hours this week are as follows:

Monday 8am-7pm
Tuesday 8am-5pm
Wednesday 8am-7pm
Closed Thursday-Sunday

We will resume normal business hours on Monday Dec. 1st.

A new service has come to the office. Dr. Jack will now be utilizing more tools like cupping, taping, and blade work to help with recovery. These types of therapies are extremely beneficial for athletes and those who live an active lifestyle. No worries though, they do serve a benefit to our weekend warriors too. 😉 This therapy will come standard with your adjustment in a way to aid your health and wellness goals. So next time you're in the office, wear some loose-fitting clothes and come get a little extra work done.

We have had lots of patients recently, especially new moms, asking about Chiropractic care for babies and children. We just want to demonstrate how gentle Chiropractic care is for little ones and that they can receive a huge benefit from very gentle adjustments. We all want our children to be as happy and healthy as possible, so consider utilizing Chiropractic as a way to support their ever-changing systems.

It's been awhile since I have made a video so here is a new one. Also, as a disclaimer we are heading towards Christmas and I want to do another giveaway. Took the weekend to spend at the MAC’s conference learning and trying to get better for all of our patients. Dr. Jack spent time in classes focused on perinatal and pediatrics, biomechanics and posture, and neurometabolic approaches to health. Our goal is always to be the best for our patients, and taking time to learn more and add more to our office allows us to keep moving in that direction.

The holiday weekend is almost here which means it’s time to celebrate Lorin for her bachelorette Party!!
The office will be closed Thursday-Monday and will resume regular business hours on Tuesday September 2nd.

Baby Leah had a good day coming into the office to get adjusted by her dad. This was not her first adjustment but the first time she was at the office.

One of our favorite questions we get is why a baby would need an adjustment.

Well the answer is pretty simple, when babies are born they are trying to interpret the world around them and during birth there can be a lot of stress on the body and nervous system.

The other question we get a lot is, isn’t chiropractic care too rough for babies and children?

This is also a fairly simple answer, we don’t adjust babies in the same way we do adults. Babies require very little effort to both check and take stress off the body.

Some benefits that parents may notice with their babies after an adjustment can include:

Better sleep
Improvement with constipation
Reduced ear infections
Reduced colic symptoms
And much more.
