Good morning, everyone! Hope you all are doing well today!

Let’s talk about something a bunch of us can relate to: the power of songs that dive into depression, anxiety, abuse, and loneliness. You know those tracks that hit you just right? They’re not just songs, they’re lifelines.

When you hear a song that nails your struggle, it’s like someone gets you at your core. Those lyrics are often the voice we can’t find ourselves. They remind us that we’re not alone in this messy life. It’s a huge relief to know others have been through the same hell.

Music can be a release. Whether you’re screaming the lyrics in your car or crying it out in your room, it’s a way of letting it all out. Those moments can be healing, and sometimes, it’s just what we need to feel alive again.

So, let’s give a shoutout to the artists who lay it all out and to each other for sharing our journeys. What songs have helped you through your toughest times? Drop your favorites in the comments! Let’s build a killer playlist that speaks to our struggles and lifts us up.

Remember, we’re in this together, and sometimes, all it takes is a song to remind us we’re not alone. 🖤🤘🎤

As we witnessed Ozzy's final performance, he smiled and waved, taking in the sight of the 40,000 fans gathered to see him. And, after he expressed his gratitude and thanks to everyone, and saying, "God Bless You All", one last time, it felt different. This wasn't the Ozzy we all knew—the "Prince of Darkness" or the "Madman" he often portrayed. Instead, we saw John Michael Osbourne, the little boy from Birmingham, living out a dream he had achieved. In that moment, he was not just the persona of Ozzy, but his true self.
Then, today, the world watched as the procession made its way through Birmingham. Tens of thousands showed up to pay their respects, and countless others tuned in for the Livestream. It was heartbreaking to see the grieving and turmoil that was present on the family's faces as they stopped at the Black Sabbath Bridge to lay roses at the memorial. But, as hard as I'm sure it was, to be in such a raw, emotional and vulnerable state, the made time to wave to the crowd in thankfulness and gratitude to those who came to show love to them and Oz. Much respect to them.

There will always be an Ozzy-shaped void in our hearts, yet he will remain forever in our memories. Thank you, Ozzy. Thank you for sharing your life and your passion with the world! Thank you for touching the hearts and inspiring the minds of countless people around the world for decades! We love you, Oz. God bless you and your family.

There's something surreal about meeting the musicians whose voices have become the soundtrack of our lives. I've had the chance to experience this firsthand, and it was nothing short of awe inspiring.

Imagine standing in a crowded venue, and you realize that the artist behind your favorite music is just a few feet away. The kind of adrenaline rush you get is truly unique.

I was fortunate enough to meet some of these musicians. And, it was so relieving, they were not just the icons I admired from afar, but genuinely kind and humble individuals. Each interaction was filled with warmth and authenticity. They took the time to chat and express gratitude for their fans. It was heartwarming to see that despite their fame, they remained grounded and approachable.

These moments reminded me that behind the glitz and glamour, there are real people with dreams, struggles, and a passion for their craft.

Meeting these people really shed some new light on my perception of them. Instead of just being names on a record, or a face on a poster or screen, they became relatable people with who I could connect with. It reinforced the idea that music is not just about entertainment, it's about building connections and celebrating our shared experiences.

In a world where we often put celebrities on pedestals, it’s refreshing to find those who remain kind and genuine. If you ever get the chance to meet your favorite musicians, go for it! You might just find that the power of their music is mirrored in their personalities. It’s a reminder that behind every note and lyric, there lies a human story waiting to be shared.

(I know Jim Breuer is not a musician, but Joanna and I saw him open for Metallica. He's also a really nice guy, so that makes him a rockstar in my book.)

Just as my parents did for me, I am doing with my boys. Music is big for us. My wife and I will always encourage and support our kids, in whatever creative outlet they choose.
Both are learning instruments, and are passionate about doing so.
It's so cool to see them get excited about bands that I grew up listening to. And, alternatively, they show me bands that they like that I haven't heard of before.
Another thing that I love, is that they're old enough to go to concerts and shows with me now just like I did with my parents. These are memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
