We have just received confirmation that a special guest will be joining us at our April 17th Fundraising Dinner. We are pleased to welcome our own, born and raised in Delaware County, Pa - Billy “White Shoes” Johnson, former wide receiver & return specialist for the Houston Oilers & Atlanta Falcons! This news is so new that we are still working out some of the details, which will be coming soon. Be sure to follow us so you don’t miss this exciting event!

We all need to mark our calendars. Our BIG God is inviting us ALL to the Touching Lives 2026 Fundraising Dinner on Friday, April 17th at 6:30pm at The Bridge Church, 1345 Market St, Linwood, Pa! We are going to hear from some of our Kenyan leaders, via videos, regarding their vision for Sanjweru Medical Center from day 1 of opening our doors and into the future.

In addition, the dinner will feature live auctions, pictures of Sanjweru community members, African decor and, of course, a delicious menu topped off with yummy desserts! There is no charge for the dinner as you will be guests of our generous table sponsors. But we will need each attendee to reserve your seat as seating is limited. Please pray for ministries around the world who are called to sponsor students. No single ministry is called to do everything, we are the Body of Christ! We will have everything from items that will be live auctioned, to smoked beef brisket, to video updates from our TLKenya team and more! Touching Lives Ministry and Giving Tuesday Make a Great Team!

Today is the day - Giving Tuesday 2025! This is the day we highlight the good that genuine non-profit organizations, including Touching Lives, do throughout the world! What a great way to put the Thanksgiving holiday into action. As you consider the many organizations on your heart, we want to give you another opportunity to honor and memorialize your loved one by donating in their name and help match the $20,000 from our "Mama Donor". The lives touched and the lives remembered will be MANY!

Fund You Can Be A Part Of Caring for Young Families

Both of the first two young men Touching Lives was able to help were in their early teens and both needed surgery on their feet and legs to be able to walk. Meet Stephen and Brian.

Stephen's feet were severely burned in the fire in his family's hut when he was 3. We met him when he was 13. Because of the reconstructive surgery sponsored by Touching Lives and done at the Cure Orthopedic Pediatric Hospital just outside of Nairobi in 2011, Stephen can now walk with very little pain, is a diploma social worker, a husband to Winny and father to Yadah Praise, their baby girl who is 8 months old. Stephen serves his community by sponsoring an outreach to the young people in his community every December.

A few years later Touching Lives brought Brian to the U.S. for life and leg saving surgery in 2015 because of the support of our donors and the open home and hearts of the Coles in Myrtle Beach, his American guardian/parents. Brian had fallen at the age of 9 when he was playing soccer at school. The resulting infection was so severe that he was facing amputation at the hip in Kenya. Today Brian is a church leader in his community, the husband of Elizabeth and father of 6 week of Evans Jayden!

Our supporters not only made a difference in the lives of 2 young men but 2 families and 2 communities! Today and every day we are grateful Stephen, Brian and our donors. Your love, prayers and gifts are helping to touch and change lives in Africa!

"The Touching Lives Ministry 2025 $20,000 Matching Gift Hospital Memorial Fund is open until December 1st - Giving Tuesday. In addition to building a general hospital, we have several active initiatives and many visions for the future. One of the "heart beats" of TLM and TLK is children. Our "Touched Lives, Changed Destinies" program, is focused on bringing preteens, teens and infants of teens together with adult mentors for encouragement, education and spiritual growth.

We will be adding a plaque on the wall of our Outpatient Building to memorialize your loved ones and to recognize that they will forever be a part of this, and many other programs. Thank you for choosing to be a part of touching lives in Sanjweru Village, Southwestern Kenya."🇰🇪

🍁Autumn is End of Year Giving Season!🍁

Autumn is known as a time of harvest, gathering and the abundance of God’s merciful provision. As we enter this season, Touching Lives Ministry is no exception to this phenomenon.

Touching Lives was recently blessed to receive a generous donation in the amount of $20,000! This gift was given along with the hope and challenge to be multiplied by others in order to complete the construction of Touching Lives Ministry Hospital, Phase 1. Upon receiving the donation challenge we prayed with boldness to ask and expect a harvest God will bless. Our goal over the next month and leading up to Giving Tuesday is to at least DOUBLE the original donation. ALL funds will be dedicated to building the long awaited hospital in Kenya.

The original donation was made in memory of a humble, prayerful and loving mother whose life spanned 5 generations. She showed the love of Christ to all with a hug and “I love you”. Her life was not easy but she never wavered from her love of Christ and her commitment to prayer. Her kindness and generosity did not stop when she left this world but through her donation she continues show Christ’s love to others with Hope and healing in a nation she never visited and to people she never knew - that is the kind of thing she loved to do!

Today we extend the opportunity for you to honor YOUR loved one. Your gift in any amount will reach across the world and make a difference to people you may only meet in heaven. ALL donations go directly toward construction of Touching Lives Ministry Hospital.
