๐โจ Important Update from JCS Affective Sober Living โจ๐
With a heavy heart, I want to share that JCS has made the difficult decision to close down the Miracle ๐ House due to the many changes in funding. We are also closing the Camden House.
While this is a hard transition, we are not finished. We still have five beds open at the Devin House, and our mission is shifting to focus more intentionally on a smaller group of women. Instead of traditional sober living, we are moving toward an independent โstep-downโ style of housing for women in recovery โ women who have been sober for a while, are working, and still want a safe and supportive environment.
๐ I want to thank all of our donors, volunteers, and supporters who have stood by JCS over the years. Because of you, we were able to last 9 years and help over 600 women. Many of these women are now living healthy, independent lives, doing wonderful things in their families and communities.
I could not have done any of this without your love, prayers, encouragement, and support. ๐
Though this is a new season, the heart of JCS remains the same: helping women in recovery rebuild their lives with dignity, community, and hope.
