STEAL MY MATCHA ENERGY BALL RECIPE! ↓⁣

These little balls are perfect little on-the-go snacks!⁣

Ingredients: ⁣
• 12 Medjool dates (pitted)⁣
• 2 tsp matcha powder⁣
• 1/4 cup shredded coconut⁣
• 3/4 cup almond flour⁣
• 1/4 cup h**p seeds⁣
• 1 tbsp MCT oil⁣
• 2 scoops of collagen powder (optional)⁣
• 1 tsp cinnamon⁣
• 1 tsp vanilla extract ⁣
• pinch of sea salt⁣

Toppings: ⁣
• 1/4 cup raw unsalted pistachios⁣
• 4 tbsp shredded coconut⁣

Instructions:⁣
1. Line a baking sheet/large plate with parchment paper and set it aside.⁣
2. Place the dates in a bowl of hot water and let it soak. ⁣
3. In a blender, pulse the pistachios until roughly chopped. Place the chopped pistachios and 4 tbsp of shredded coconut aside in separate plates.⁣
4. Add the dates and the rest of the ingredients into a processor. Pulse until thoroughly combined and forms a clay-like consistency. ⁣
5. Using an ice cream scoop or a large spoon, scoop out the mixture. Roll in your hands to create evenly sized balls.⁣
6. Alternate between rolling the balls in shredded coconut and crushed pistachios. Make sure to press the toppings into the balls.⁣
7. Place the plate/sheet into the freezer for 1 hour. You can store them in an airtight container in the fridge afterward. ⁣
8. Enjoy! ⁣

Hey babes! How have you been feeling mentally?⁠

Have you felt overwhelmed, exhausted, and just need some time to relax?⁠

As a health coach, here are 3 ways I recommend to help protect your mental health:⁠

🍃 Schedule time during the week where you will practice your self-care. That can be going on a walk, taking a hot bath, etc.⁠
🍃 Make sure you are eating well and staying hydrated. Plan your meals out for the week, so you don't accidentally start eating food that will make you feel bad.⁠
🍃 Stay away from things that stress you out. Our minds can only handle so much bad news. If you need a break, take it.⁠

Healthy bones are a must! ⁣

Here are 3 reasons why you need to keep your bones healthy! ⁣

• 1 out of 2 women over the age of 50 will break a bone due to osteoporosis. ⁣
• 80% of the people who have osteoporosis are women. ⁣
• A women's risk of breaking a hip is equal to her combined risk of breast, uterine, and ovarian cancer.⁣

Prevention care and healthy living are so important to prevent diseases such as osteoporosis and arthritis. ⁣

Here are some tips on how to prevent osteoporosis and arthritis: ⁣

1. Magnesium, potassium & calcium, and vitamin D. Vitamin D is essential for calcium absorption

2. Food sources for healthy bones:⁣
• Dark leafy greens⁣
• Fatty fish (omega 3)⁣
• Grass-fed dairy produce⁣
• Pasture-raised eggs⁣

3. Add herbs to your diet to reduce inflammation⁣
• Turmeric⁣
• Ginger⁣
• Red sage tea⁣

Storytime...

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with PCOS at a young age. I went from doctor to doctor trying to heal myself, but nothing truly worked. It wasn't until I took matters into my own hands and began to explore what worked for my body. What daily habits I could start incorporating into my lifestyle and what foods would help me heal…

This started my journey and fired up my passion for health. What if I could use this knowledge to spread awareness to other women struggling to find the answers they’re looking for.

If you are out there struggling with your health, ask yourself do you ever find the time to make that commitment or that change? Do you constantly seek change, but “it’s just never the right time”. Prioritizing your needs before others might seem selfish at first. However, by providing for yourself, you will then be able to provide for others.

Have you ever thought of joining a wellness retreat? When most people think about a retreat, they think of it as a vacation and don’t see it as a necessity.

Unfortunately, we live in a time where the prices are only going up, there’s a pandemic still happening in the world, and now many of us worry how the war happening in Ukraine will impact my country and my family. Such situations and events will naturally cause fear of the unknown in many.

This can lead to a repetitive cycle of constantly wanting change but not taking any action. The idea behind this wellness retreat is for you to find a safe community of women that feel the same as you. In a safe and motivating environment, you will begin to live alongside your fear of the unknown and instead focus and take control of the known.

As a wellness coach, I will guide you through that journey, through the fear, through the procrastination. What are some ways that you can prioritize your needs, to achieve those goals?

Do you find yourself rushing around and frantic in the morning?⁣⁣

As a health coach, I guide my not clients with not only how to eat better, but how to live a healthier life overall. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Here are 5 ways to set yourself up for success the night before:⁣⁣
1. Make a quick to-do list of the 3 most important tasks to get done the next day (that way you’ll get them done first) - success).⁣⁣
2. Have your last meal at least 2-3 hours before bed (you will sleep better through the night without any discomfort and wake up well-rested).⁣⁣
3. Instead of watching tv or mindlessly scrolling through Tiktok. Change your habit and read for at least 30 minutes before bedtime (this will help your mind to wind down from the day).⁣⁣
4. Stay consistent with your bedtime (set a reminder for yourself to start getting ready for bed an hour or so before, so that you get at least 8 hours of beauty sleep).⁣⁣
5. When going to sleep put your phone away in your dresser (or the other room).⁣⁣

When I was creating my wellness retreat I wanted to incorporate yoga as one of the activities. Yoga is one activity that always has kept me grounded. When I have felt life becoming too chaotic and overwhelming, yoga is great to help keep me centered.⁣
