Dear Friends:

It is hard to believe that this spring will mark our 8th year in business with Sunny Skies Ice Cream. Here is a little known fact about Sunny Skies. We are a small business with a big heart, taking a portion of our proceeds every year to support the wonderful work of the non profit community in the Quiet Corner. This is something that our family is very proud of and we will continue building upon that tradition again in 2016. This past year charitable donations included: The ARC of Quinebaug Valley, the Access Agency, the Jim Boyle summer campership program Brooklyn Parks and Recreation and Northeast Opportunities for Wellness.

Our ice cream cart can hold up to 600 frozen treats per event. We can operate with or without electricity. Sunny Skies is a great addition to sports venues, community celebrations, summer camps, non-profit and faith community fundraisers, employee and customer appreciation days!

Looking forward to the Town of Killingly Fireworks this Friday July 3rd at Owen Bell Park! we will be there with plenty of ice cream for all to enjoy. Stop by and see us.

We are off to a great start this ice cream season. First Friday in Putnam was a wonderful event catching up with friends and new customers. This past weekend it was an honor to participate in the NOW organization's event at the new East Putnam, CT. Fire Department. NOW is a first class organization with a wonderful mission helping area children. Next Saturday we will be at the Second Annual Logee's Greenhouse Summer Solstice Fundraiser. Last year we had fun, sold ice cream, heard great music and had a chance to meet another group of new customers. Thanks everyone for your support. We look forward at the end of the season making contributions to a fantastic group of local non profit organizations from a portion of our ice cream sales. We take pride in being a small business with a big heart! Hopefully we will get to see some of you this summer at a growing number of events! - Joel

Sunny Skies Ice Cream - Frozen Treats To Brighten Your Day.

Dear Friends!

We are looking forward to our 2015 ice cream season and would love to be part of your next gathering featuring our old fashion ice cream cart! If you are planning a warm weather activity in 2015 and are expecting between several hundred to several thousand patrons, let us do all the work and we will share a portion of our profits with you. If you prefer we will gladly pay a vendor fee to be part of your event. For businesses or business associations that would like to recognize members, employees or customers, we offer a number of cost friendly options.

This is our seventh year bringing Sunny Skies Ice Cream to events throughout Connecticut and beyond. We are a small business with a big heart and are very proud of the number of charities that we have supported since starting Sunny Skies Ice Cream.

Our 2013 season is about to begin. Events already on the schedule include: Killingly Kidz Day, First Fridays in Putnam, The Greek Orthodox Festival in Danielson, Wag-A-Thon for Day Kimball Hospital, the ARC Rubber Duck Race and soon more events will be added to the schedule.
