I will be offering a donation-based class during the holidays, and all contributions will be donated to an organization providing food and medical support to children affected by the ongoing conflicts in Sudan and Gaza.

During this season, many of us gather with loved ones and settle into our familiar routines. It can be a gentle moment to pause and notice the simple things we often move through without thinking—and to hold a quiet awareness of those whose circumstances are very different from ours.

November 27th Thursday 12-1pm
December 25th Thursday 12-1pm

*Both In Person & Virtual Classes are available

Everyone is welcome, we’ll move gently, breathe, and sit in meditation together. Practice together, give together.

May we find peace, harmony, and love🙏🏻💕

Quiet Moments in Japan 🇯🇵🍃

I met only the people I truly wanted to see, felt the kind of inspiration that moves the heart, and found a new light within me.

This feeling of
not chasing,
not overdoing
it felt so right for where I am now.

But still, I’m trying.
Trying to live with all I have.

Meditation keeps guiding me home.

But to truly arrive there, I’ve realized how much movement the body needs how deeply connected our strength and stillness are.

It’s good to understand how the world moves,
but even more important is knowing what you truly want.

Honestly, nothing else really matters.

You only live once, so live in the way that feels true to you.

May you spend this lifetime in your fullest light. ✨

本当に会いたい人にだけ会い、心が動く刺激を受け、新しい光を見つける。この“追いかけない、頑張りすぎない”感覚が今の私には心地よかった。

Meditation

In Yoga Sutra 2.33, the phrase “vitarkabādhane pratipakṣabhāvanam” teaches us to cultivate an opposite or positive thought when disturbed by negativity.
T.K.V. Desikachar calls this practice “reversing the flow”, a simple yet profound way to turn reflection into transformation.

Even when something feels unfair or impossible to understand, can we pause and try to see from that perspective? Not to deny or judge it as right or wrong, but to look for a happy medium, a point of balance. And if that balance still feels out of reach, then it becomes a choice: how do we respond?
Maybe if we remember that, there would be less conflict.

After all, we might all be heading toward the same place in our hearts.

This year’s autumn leaves are taking their time to turn. The warmth lingers, and the greens still shine softly. Just watching them calms my heart.

Animals wander into the city, searching for food, people panic, but… whose fault is it, really?

Supermarkets overflow with glittering goods. We can have anything, anytime. But when I think about how much of it may end up as waste, it chills me.

Have we forgotten to feel gratitude?

Amid all that, seeing the care in every service, the beauty in simple places, and the dedication of friends and family who keep doing what they love, I feel joy.

And I feel grateful to be Japanese.

The End Is a New Beginning… 💫

After a year together, the Master Mind sessions held by have come to an end.
What has changed in me over this year? It’s hard to put into words, but what I feel most clearly is clarity. I am deeply grateful for the energy we exchanged, for the souls who showed up without judgment, and for the space we created together.

And as always, when something ends, something new begins.

Teacher Training has just started. It’s a gift to witness beautiful souls stepping into their yoga journey, each one unfolding in their own unique way…

1-Day Wellness Retreat with Polina .alliswithin a dream years in the making finally came alive. The Himalayan Institute embraced us with its powerful nature and safe, grounding energy. In our opening circle, I drew a card: “FLY FREE.” The message was exactly what my heart needed.

This retreat reminded me of how often we feel isolated in this world, and how much we long for connection, love, and joy. It guided me to reflect on my attachments on status, on identity.. and to remember that this body is temporary, that life is ever-changing.

Yes, stepping into the unknown stirs fear. But all experiences reminded me that fear is natural, and it’s okay. What matters is choosing curiosity instead of fear, walking forward with openness, softness, trust and surrender to what unfolds. 🐦‍🔥

✨ Puruṣārtha ✨

In yoga philosophy, Puruṣārtha means “the aims of human life.”

Puruṣa – the individual self
Artha – purpose

These four guideposts remind us of the many ways we can live with intention:

🌿 Dharma: Positive connection, living in alignment with what is true and life-supporting.
🌿 Artha: The resources we need.. money, shelter, stability.. to live with independence and dignity.
🌿 Kāma: Desire and fulfillment; the joys and passions that bring richness to our days.
🌿 Mokṣa: Stillness and freedom… ultimately, freedom from suffering.

In yoga therapy, these are not just ancient ideas, they are practical tools that help us stay aligned with our values, maintain the resources we need to live steadily, welcome joy into our lives, and cultivate freedom from suffering. They offer a way of living where yoga is not separate from life, but woven into every choice, every interaction, and every breath.

If you wish to deepen the way you live as yoga, seeing your life itself as the practice, our 200 Hour Yoga Training is a beautiful place to begin.

This training is not only about becoming a teacher. It’s about learning how to integrate yoga into every layer of your life, especially off the practice space, so it becomes a steady companion in how you think, move, feel, and choose.

Early Bird Price ends today.. Payment plans are available, and our arms are wide open to welcome you into this transformative journey.

May we find a balance of all, and with peace & love. 💛

Do less. Feel more.
Less noise. More meaning.

This season, I’m leaning into simplicity, where presence becomes the practice, and quiet reveals the truth.

I’ve been dealing with a pretty rough cough for the past five days, it’s been tough. I don’t usually get sick often, but this is actually the second time in the past two months, which feels unusual.

Still, it’s a powerful reminder that caring for my health, caring for myself is always the top priority.

This experience also deepened my appreciation for the breath. Coughing so much made other parts of my body ache too, and I was reminded just how deeply our whole body is connected, and emotional state are connected.

And through it all, nature continues to accept me just as I am. It gently teaches me what it means to simply be.

Maybe we don’t need a world that’s any more convenient than it already is. Maybe it’s time to stop chasing more, and instead, begin a journey inward—to discover ways of feeling fulfilled that don’t come at the cost of the Earth. Are you coming on this journey, too?

🌑 Happy New Moon 🌑

It’s been about 10 years since I began writing wishes on the new moon. I started when I was applying for my second artist visa, nervous and uncertain. A kind person at my part-time job suggested it, and something in me said yes.

Since then, I’ve watched many dreams come to life. Not just because I wrote them down,
but because when I choose to believe,
the Universe always seems to rise to meet me.

Lately, I’ve been sitting with this feeling:
I’m just a drop of the ocean. And I mean that in the best possible way.

We are all connected.
Even the person who irritates you. Even the one who hurts you, they’re made of the same ocean.
Just like you. Just like me.

The more I zoom out, the more I see how vast and beautiful this life is. And from that place, all I feel is gratitude. And joy.

I’m here for a reason.

So while I’m still here, I’ll live like I mean it. With everything I’ve got.
