We built my first greenhouse! 😍🏡🪴
What took us over 4 hours in less than 20 seconds 🥲
This year, I acquired a few fruit tree saplings that are still rooting themselves & I wanted to eliminate any risk of them not surviving winter.
You see, we are super blessed to have a spacious backyard in Brooklyn, but it’s concrete and unless we own the place, all we can really do is keep our plants in movable containers.
The caveat is that containers need to have extra insulation during wintertime, especially if the plants are young and are still forming their root systems. Otherwise they can freeze and not wake up in spring.
So to avoid that altogether, my beloved gifted me this little greenhouse, my very first one 🥹
I have some big dreams when it comes to greenhouses, and this is definitely a step into that direction. 🌿
