Athlete: Can I skip today’s run?
Coach: Of course.
Athlete: What about two days?
Coach: Still your choice.
Athlete: A whole week off, just because I don’t feel like it?
Coach: No one’s stopping you.
Athlete: Can I train only when I’m in the mood?
Coach: You absolutely can.
Athlete: So what can’t I do?
Coach: You can’t expect results without consistency.
You can’t show up on race day with “when I feel like it” effort.
Everything’s allowed—but not everything builds you.
The choice is simple: comfort today or strength tomorrow.
Every skipped run is a vote against the runner you want to be. 🏃🔥
