Action Alert - APRN Bill Victory

Action Alert -
Ask Governor Evers to Sign SB 394, The APRN Modernization Act!

The legislature has finished their work on SB 394. The bill will go to the Governor shortly for his consideration to either sign or veto. There is no guarantee that he will sign. WNA wants to make sure that the Governor hears from Wisconsin’s nurses about the importance of SB 394!

WNA is using a different approach for sending letters to the Governor. A variety of sample letters has been developed that you can edit and send using the Governors website link (posted below sample letters on WNA webpage - link below). The letters reflect the different nursing roles that include, NP, Psych Mental Health, public health, RN and DNP/Master’s student.

Thank you so much in advance for your time, effort and advocacy! We have never been so close to having this bill become law.
