Dear Friends & Family!
Please consider donating towards treatment for Ben and the Griner family as they face this medical battle. Ben is a Brunswick native who works at Sapelo Equipment Co. If you don’t see him there, you can almost guarantee he is at his church serving in a variety of ministries. Ben has led addiction recovery groups, Men’s Bible studies, and has played guitar for the worship team for multiple years. Ben is a new father working full-time and going to school to further his education. We all need a little help sometimes and this family needs their community now more than ever. Please consider donating; every dollar helps!

Ben was diagnosed with a genetic vascular condition affecting the veins in his legs. He has multiple ulcers in his legs and is at risk of having them amputated below the knee if he does not immediately undergo this procedure. He is scheduled for 5 rounds of Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation Therapy (ERAT) starting August 22. Ben will have 5 treatment procedures and 2 ultrasound appointments to receive the therapy and hopes to miss as little time at work as possible. Unfortunately, Ben has already missed 3 weeks of work and was wheelchair bound due to this condition. Ben has had a medicated cast on one of his legs to slow the progression, but the medical team has determined that this is the best treatment route for saving his legs long term. This journey has depleted their funds and savings and they need your help.
Unfortunately, the Griner’s insurance policy does not cover the treatment. Their doctors have worked with them to give their family the very best possible financial payment plan. The cost of his treatment, hospital fees, missed salary, and medication costs will be approximately $5000.00. The Griner’s need financial assistance to stay afloat and allow Ben to go through the 5 procedures and receive the leg-saving therapy. He will need to stay off his leg during that time and will possibly miss even more work. Thank you so much for considering a donation to this amazing young family.
