Just a few months ago, volunteers filled Tops Friendly Markets across Western New York for another meaningful Buffalo News Kids Day, a tradition that continues to make a big impact for the moms, children and babies cared for at Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo.

Throughout the day, the newspapers were handed out not only to raise critical funds, but also to share the powerful stories of strength and hope in our community: Charlotte's resilient battle in the NICU, Palmer's journey from GCH Buffalo to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Morgan's life-saving bone marrow transplant from her sister and so many more.

Thanks to the generosity of our neighbors and the continued partnership of The Buffalo News and Tops Friendly Markets, this special day helps us keep getting more kids back to being kids. We are so grateful for everyone who helps make Kids Day possible year after year.💙

Jessica and John were only looking to add one or two more children to their family – but along came five!

Luckily, as the region’s only Level IV NICU and Regional Perinatal Center with a leading Labor & Delivery team and dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo was right here to provide the highly specialized care Jessica needed for her high-risk pregnancy and the safe delivery of their babies.

Even this bitter cold couldn't stop the warmth of the Bills community ❤️🔥

Since the heartbreaking divisional playoff loss, fans near and far have rallied in an incredible way: more than 7,200 donations totaling over $171,600 have been raised through the Patricia Allen Fund FOR kids at Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo.
