Northeast LMSA

Northeast LMSA LMSA-Northeast is a 501(c)(3) student-run organization representing medical and allied health students from the Northeast region of the United States.

The Latino Medical Student Association-Northeast (LMSA-NE), formerly known as the National Boricua Latino Health Organization (NBLHO), is a Latino student group representing health professions students from the northeast region of the United States. Its mission is to recruit Latinos into higher education, educate the public and one another about Latino health issues, advocate for increased Latino representation in health related areas, and promote awareness about social, political and economic issues as they relate to Latino health. It also serves to create a support network for Latino students.

The LMSA-Northeast PLUS Co-Chair Application is officially OPEN! 🎉

This is your chance as a pre-med/pre-health student to step into a regional leadership role and make a real impact across LMSA-NE ✨

We are selecting:
🔹 LMSA+ Development Chair – focused on expanding and supporting LMSA+ chapters across the Northeast
🔹 LMSA+ Programming Chair – leading events, mentorship, and pre-med programming for our community

In these roles, you’ll:
• Help grow and strengthen LMSA+ chapters
• Create meaningful programming and mentorship opportunities
• Collaborate with regional leaders and conference teams
• Play a key role in shaping the pre-med experience within LMSA 💛

📍 Open to all pre-health students in the Northeast (LMSA+ involvement preferred!)
📅 Deadline: Friday, April 3rd at 11:59 PM

Selected applicants will be invited to interview with the Regional Executive Board.

The 2027 LMSA-Northeast Regional Conference is coming to Yale University School of Medicine, and we’re looking for passionate, driven leaders to step into the role of Conference Co-Chair 🎤✨

This is your chance to:
• Lead the vision and ex*****on of a regional conference
• Join the LMSA-NE Regional Executive Board
• Collaborate with an incredible team to create meaningful impact across our community

No prior conference planning experience required, just your passion, commitment, and dedication to LMSA 💛
