Strike while the iron is hot. This is how we left retreat. It’s not the end but a start.

The Acadia retreat may be behind us, but the real work begins now.
The fire, the hammer, the silence, the brotherhood — all of it was meant to send us home sharpened, ready to act.

Every man walked away with a commitment.
Not vague, not someday… but one concrete strike to make coming home.

Acadia isn’t just a destination for sight seeing. We’re popping the hood.
It’s place to cut the noise, face our edges, and meet the silence that shapes us.

In the blacksmith’s shop, heat draws impurities to the surface.
In the wilderness, God does the same.
•
Next week, we step into the wild — to pray, to be challenged, to sharpen one another.
This is brotherhood refined.

Happy Father’s Day to all of you dads out there!

It’s an incredible responsibility - to co-create and raise babies. The most difficult thing I have and will probably do, paired with one of the most fulfilling adventures of life with marriage.

Super honored to be the father of our kids - four here and the three in Heaven. You never forget a soul you’ve made. Here’s to them all.
