Creative expression is one of the most underused forms of healing. I challenge you to make more space for it.

Thank you for the messages, DMs, emails, and inquiries following last night’s announcement. The response has been meaningful—not just to me, but to our entire team and the artists we serve.

What we’re building at is intentional. Creative care is not an add-on or a talking point—it’s infrastructure. The truth is… when artists are supported where they work, rehearse, and tour, performance becomes more sustainable, decisions become clearer, and longevity stops being an afterthought.

In 12 weeks, our Tour Wellness & Care department goes on the road. I’m looking forward to bringing this work into your environments, in real time, with the same level of structure and accountability we apply to every other part of our operations.

Thank you all once again for rocking with me.

If you don’t know then who do you actually know?

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Eric to talk healing, perseverance, mirror work, and navigating the entertainment industry in a way that’s not performative.

Let’s just say—this was a good one.

No one—and I mean no one—could ever make me hate

This song. This album. Changed my life.

I loved her before this album ever came out—but hearing this song again, watching her last night on that stage, took me straight back to the little girl I was. Drill team on Munn in Bradley Court. Summers at Boylan Pool. Actually living next door, when the candy store was at the bottom of my house, and the bus station was across the street. My dance classes at Maria Priadka and Marie Wildey.

Now I didn’t grow up on Prince Street—but I’m rooted in 7th Ave and Victoria. Stick and Stab. North Newark soil. Attended Irvington schools. Lived years in Hillside.

Watching her last night…although in my forties…I became a little girl again—to witness her growth, perseverance, skill, tenacity, and beauty.

She didn’t just do this for women or girls around the world. She did it for the girls of Newark.

And if you KNOW me KNOW me then you refer to me as Ny-Boogie. Whew!

This was Grammy night for me. 🥹❤️🙌🏾

Being his wife is one role.
Being his manager is another.
Doing both well requires discipline, boundaries, and a lot of intention.

Sometimes it’s extra tension.
Sometimes it’s extra sweet.
But it always gives me another way to help Mic reach the heights the 13-year-old boy I met used to dream about.

One of my favorite career choices—by far.
Excited for what 2026 is bringing.
And proud of last night’s successful show relaunch.

This Has Always Been the Work

When people look at me now — at The Serenity Haus, at the artists, the wellness programs, the stages — they might think music is something I just stepped into.
But the truth is: this work has always been in me.

🎶 Music was never just sound — it was purpose.
🧠 Wellness was never a trend — it was the mission.
🌍 And transformation was always the goal.

In 2007, I opened my living room to young girls from my neighborhood — girls who were told their futures had to fit inside narrow boxes: teacher, doctor, nurse.
While those paths are beautiful, I wanted them to see something more — that artistry is a calling, and that joy, purpose, and stability can come from honoring what’s in your heart.

What began in a small living room grew into a vision that reached across oceans — partnering with the Ugandan, Malawian, and Ghanaian Parliaments to open schools and bring music, mental well-being, and community to youth who had been told to dream smaller.

It’s taken time — years of refining, healing, and aligning — to name this work fully.

Now, I stand firm in what it has always been:

The Haus Foundation — the extra arm of , carrying our legacy of creative education, mental wellness, and global community impact.

This isn’t a new chapter — it’s a continuation of the story that’s always been written. And I’m grateful to every soul who helped light the way.

Thank you, , for being one of the first mentors to my girls. 💛
