Team Vincent

Team Vincent Vincent Robert Gross was born on 8/9/2011. Vincent was diagnosed with Complete Heart Block during the 28th week of pregnancy.

Before birth, Vincent Gross was diagnosed with Complete Heart Block. The Gross Family met with UPMC doctors right away to determine a plan of action and continued to do so every week leading up to baby Vincent's birth. He was born on Aug 9, 2011 at Magee, at 7 lbs 13 oz. After his birth, he was transferred to Children's Hospital for observation in the CICU. While at Children's, baby Vincent's vita

ls dropped severely and he became very sick. The doctors thought he had Sepsis from a meconium aspiration during birth. Because of his heart condition, baby Vincent's body could not respond and fight off the infection. Only a couple of hours after birth, he was given an external pacer through his neck and into his heart. Vincent recovered quickly from the infection and was fitted with an internal pacemaker just one week after his birth. "Because of the doctors at UPMC, Vincent is here with us today," says mom, Jennifer. "My husband and I would like to thank all of the doctors who treated Vincent and continue to do so today. Because of their preparation and communication, our son Vincent is now a strong, healthy and funny 18-month old baby boy!"

Hello Friends! I wanted to share my Chemo Pouf Project update! (I know it's lengthy, but please bear with me!)

First, THANK YOU to everyone who has sponsored a Stella and Dot pouf for our Chemo Pouf project so far! My shipment of 15 came in this week and I still have more to order! This means the world to me and the other stylists and we are going to make so many chemo patients happy! 🤗😍❤️❤️❤️

This is a charitable project that is near and dear to my heart, as I lost both of my dad's to cancer in the last 4 years. My mother in law is a survivor of breast cancer and I have many other family members and friends who have battled cancer, as well as one of our own Stella and Dot Stylists ❤️

I would personally like to reach my goal of 30 Poufs sponsored (right now I'm at 18) - and obviously anything more than that would be amazing!!

Who would love to help me reach that goal?! And bring smiles to Chemo patients faces?! Especially during this time of the year! Tis the season for giving!

There is still time to donate if you would like to help sponsor one! Remember, I will be using ALL of my commissions from each Pouf sold to fill it with valuable items that chemo patients could use, i.e. razors, fuzzy socks, lip balm, puzzle books, etc. Then myself and other Stella and Dot stylists will deliver all the filled Poufs to the Hillman Cancer Center the week of Thanksgiving.

It is $25 to sponsor. You can PayPal me at jengross20@gmail.com or Zelle at 724-747-0347.

If you would like to order directly from my site, it is www.stelladot.com/sites/jenniferlgross and then ship directly to me (DM me for my address).

Fact: did you know that MEN can also get breast cancer??? Share this with all the men in your lives and make sure you get checked at the first symptom you notice ❤️

Please feel free to share this with anyone you know that would like to help!

Also, every person that sponsors a pouf will be entered to win the S&D Tribute Bracelet in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness for the month of October (I will be drawing for 2 bracelets!)
