🌎 A Full-Circle Moment for Mr. Otto🛰
Mr. Otto's recent WOW Moment included a very special visit to NOAA Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research Headquarters in Silver Spring, MD, where he explored the Science on a Sphere and Gateway to NOAA exhibits.
Having worked with weather satellites at NOAA since the early days of the agency, this experience brought back many meaningful memories for Mr. Otto. He was warmly welcomed by a special NOAA committee who prepared a private tour and presentation in his honor.
A highlight of the visit was when he received a commemorative Jefferson Cup, making this already special day even more memorable.
We are so grateful to the NOAA team for their kindness and for helping create such a meaningful moment celebrating Mr. Otto’s incredible legacy. 🌍✨
